Why Choose Heaton House Farm?
When you’re planning your wedding, one of the most important – and difficult – decisions you can make is choosing a wedding venue.
We know that there are so many different options to choose from – from rural countryside locations to extravagant modern celebrations – that making the big decision can often be a little overwhelming.
But we’re here to help you as best we can, and we want to make sure you have as much information as possible. We might not be right for your dream wedding, but we’ll still help you understand all the different pieces of the puzzle you should consider when booking a wedding venue.
And there a few things which make getting married here at Heaton House Farm that little bit different.
Heaton House Farm is a family-owned wedding venue, and is still managed today by 7th generation family members. We care about each and every one of the couples who get married on our farm, and we do everything we can to ensure your day is absolutely perfect. Whatever it takes.
That includes a personal event coordinator throughout your entire day, making sure everything runs incredibly smoothly and taking all the stress away from you and your partner.
Exclusive venue use with multiple ceremony options
When you book a wedding at Heaton House Farm, you can rest assured that you’ll get full and exclusive use of the entire venue, for all you and all your guests. There won’t be any other wedding parties around on your big, special day.
Our venue hire includes just that – hire of the whole venue. And with that comes a choice for your ceremony location. You could have a traditional marriage in our oak beamed entrance barn, enjoy an intimate outdoor wedding under our oak pagoda, or celebrate in style under the stars – the choice is yours!
One of the biggest problems couples can face is when they find their perfect wedding venue but then realise there isn’t any suitable accommodation nearby. That’s not the case with Heaton House Farm.
We have a whole host of beautiful rooms in our converted farm buildings, exclusively available for you and your family and friends on the night of your wedding. With range of options, we can accommodate up to 40 guests right here at the farm.
You’ll also find we have a number of disabled access rooms on-site, giving your guests easy, step-free access from your ceremony, to your wedding breakfast, and back to the room when the night comes to a close.
Working farm location
Heaton House Farm is still a working farm, which means we have a truly unique atmosphere for your wedding – with rolling green hills, sheep-filled fields and a beautiful dramatic backdrop. It really does make for some stunning wedding photography.
When you enjoy your breakfast with us the following morning – in our large stableyard room that means you can welcome your whole family back for a morning celebration – you’ll be eating fresh local eggs from just across the hills, locally sourced meat from our region, and homemade jams freshly prepared from the fruit in our garden.
Eco-friendly wedding venue
We’ve been working exceptionally hard in recent years to ensure that Heaton House Farm can be carbon neutral. We’ve recently installed a brand new bio-mass burner in one of our barns, which, coupled with our 250 solar panels, can power our entire venue.
We’re big on recycling too, reusing or sorting everything we can. We even take the time to separate the fruit from your drinks at the bar, so that we can send it to one of our specialist partner recycling companies.
All the little things
Sometimes though, it’s all the little things which can make the difference when deciding on a countryside location for your wedding. Attention to detail matters greatly when getting married. That’s why we can handle everything for you – to make sure that whatever it is, it’s done to a tee!
That includes our exclusive, ultra-fine bedding and towels, laundered right here on-site. It includes our online help desk, to support the planning of your wedding, your budget, and your table plans, once you have booked with us.
It’s the exceptional speaker system – included in our price – that runs throughout our entire wedding barn – so everyone can hear your music and speeches. And it’s also a fully licensed barn, with the ability to supply your favourite special drinks, on request.
It’s also the award we have won for our outstanding toilets. Not something you’d normally think about, but absolutely vital in ensuring every single part of your wedding is perfect – even those areas behind closed doors!
Don’t forget about the small things when booking your wedding venue. Come down and see Heaton House Farm for yourself, and we’ll show you exactly how our attention to detail can make a huge difference for your big day.
