Summer means it is officially wedding season!
And by the time the end of August arrives, the team have worked through the busiest time at the farm. After months filled with lovely weddings and wonderful events, the team definitely feel ready to have a night off to enjoy themselves.
That’s exactly what the Heath’s had planned, but keeping to tradition, it was all a surprise!
The team were sent invitations with minimal information – to be at the farm for 6pm on Tuesday 27th August.
As usual, everybody was busy trying to guess what the activity might be and attempting to get some clues out of Sarah, Margaret and Mick!
But they didn’t give in and everyone turned up absolutely clueless as to what they would be spending their evening doing.
With instructions to head up the road to Madrenaline Activity Centre, everyone knew they were definitely in for a treat!
THE BIG REVEAL
Splitting into two groups, we went off to start our activities. We would be going head to head to see who the overall champion would be.
Everyone had a great time trying to figure out which method was best to get the highest score and how to get those axes to hit the targets.
Skybow proved to be absolutely hilarious as everyone struggled to hit the flying target, but we did end up with an eventual winner… Well done Sam Smith!
And after a closely fought competition for the Axe-Throwing Champion title, it turned out that Jo Lover was the deserving winner of the trophy!
HUNGRY FOR MORE
We had worked up quite the appetite during our evening of activities so we were really happy to hear that we would be heading to The Royal Oak for some dinner.
A full buffet had been set out for us with lots of delicious dishes to choose from, so we all piled our plates high and sat down to listen to Mick’s speech.
Thanking us for all our continued hard work, we all felt really proud at what we have achieved this year and how much the business has developed.
Cheers to us!
It was a lovely evening yet again! It is always so wonderful to be given the opportunity to try activities that we have never done before and spend time with each other outside of work.
The team would like to say a big thank you to our amazing bosses for making our Team Nights extra special!
