The exclusive invites were sent to our booked couples, the suppliers were confirmed, and our team had everything ready and organised for the first Experience Event of 2023, and WOW, what an amazing event it was!
Each year we host two Experience Events, these are the Heaton House Farm equivalent to a wedding fayre but EXCLUSIVELY just for the couples who have their wedding booked here at our venue; find out who attended this event…
A huge shoutout to our fantastic team who worked tirelessly to put on this event which welcomed over 300 guests! Our coordinators were ready at the front desk to meet and greet and be on hand for any questions regarding our couple’s special days alongside a team from Staffordshire Registrars to answer all things ceremony related, and check our couples are booked in for the important ‘I Do’s.
What a fabulous display of cars we had in the courtyard, the showstopping traditional wedding cars brought to us by Signature Cars, (what a lovely way to arrive at your wedding!) and the extremely popular fun feature of Stealth Racer! Luckily the F1 car wasn’t dashing around the venue!
The first stop for our beautiful brides was in the pamper room where they could think all about their hair, makeup and accessories with the wonderful Sophie Brown Makeup Artist, Wildflower Hair Company and Luna and Wild; who’d brought along some stunning floral hair pieces. All whilst envisioning their special morning surrounded by their Bride Tribe of course!
For anyone still seeking the perfect outfit for the day, Maria Modes Bridal had displayed a pop-up bridal boutique featuring a gorgeous, spring-styled wedding dress, alongside Cheshire Menswear’s stylish suits displays – they even had ‘mini me’ suits too!
For guests, Kinderton Hats had joined us with an array of colours and styles of fascinating fascinators and hats, which lots of guests were intrigued to try on!
Couples are always on the lookout for venue dressing and floristry ideas and with so many theming options available, our experience events are the perfect opportunity to come and see the venue dressed in different styles. This event welcomed The Flower House Cheshire, who created a beautiful display of pinks and greens in our Oak Beamed Barn, and Lily Rose Events who added touches of blush blossom under the night sky area; and both created showstopping table centres in Steeles too!
Lighting up the rooms with several displays of light-up letters and neon lights, is the lovely Love Lights The Way, bringing a touch of sparkle too!
Food is always very close to the top of the priorities list whilst organising a wedding day. We have a highly experienced team of chefs over at Stable Yard Catering who create delicious dishes for our couples. But not just the food, the sweet treats too! Luckily for us (and everyone who attended) we had For Goodness Cake here with a selection of cake styles and flavours to try and Vitaliano’s Ice Cream for a refreshing cold treat to finish.
Another key element to a wedding day is the music. Will you have an instrumentalist play your bridal entrance music? Or a band to kick start the evening party? And finding a DJ to get your guests on their feet is very important for the party of course! Entertaining the guests for this event we had the very talented ladies from String Infusion, Apollo Soul Band and DJ & Event Host Tom Finkill – and they all blew us away!
Whether couples were looking for stationery ideas, or looking for someone to care for their dog whilst the nuptials take place, we have suppliers of all varieties!
Stationery ideas were flowing with Rodo Creative with a vast amount of design ideas! And for those looking for something a little different for their signs and table stationery, Just Add Chalk brought along some stunning wooden options.
Speaking of stunning designs, Jacqueline Harold Designs has recently joined our supplier directory, and with her beautiful display of handcrafted jewellery.
Stealing the show though, Oscar and Barney came along to support That’s Pawfect at their stand, where couples can discuss options for their furry friends.
If fun is what you want the description to be for your wedding, these suppliers are for you! Try your luck with Crazy 9 Golf, learn a trick or two from magician David Oakley, capture your laughter with BoothTube (which some of the HHF team managed to do!) or add a dramatic effect for your first dance with an indoor show from Eventech – not forgetting a bouncy castle for the children (or adults of course!)
A huge thank you to our superb photographers, Jon Thorne & Adam Lowndes for capturing this amazing event for us, and for all of our suppliers for helping our couples plan their special day! Roll on to the next event!
