Margaret began her life on the Cheshire/Derbyshire border, on a 15th Century Dairy and Sheep Farm in Disley called "Cockhead Farm" moving at the age of 13 when her family took on the tenancy of "Bank Farm" at Bostock, Nr. Middlewich, an area of Cheshire famous for its Salt mines.

They have been married since 1988 and have a Daughter Sarah who arrived on their first wedding anniversary!
